GUESS WHO JUST RESIZED ALL OF THEIR PICTURES (FINALLY)?!
Mhm, that's right. I did. And I'm pretty dang proud of myself.
So that means I can upload lots of pretty pictures to Facebook and Myspace for everyone back home to see. Also, that means I can add more to my blog. HOORAY! ...Or however you spell it.
ANYWAYS, today. Let's see. Today we went to a museum in Strasbourg. It was pretty cool. I mostly took pictures, since I couldn't understand the tour guide all that much. ...Oops.
After the museum, we ate lunch. I have NO idea what you would call the sandwich I had, but it was something sort of...odd. I didn't really like it. Bread + ham + cream cheese + butter + cheese + raw bacon (?) = gross. But, hey. Different culture, different tastes. I'm here to learn, I guess. And I definitely learned to specify when asked "Do you want a ham sandwich?". Hahaha.
The concentration camp we visited today was... interesting. Sad, but not as sad as it could be, I guess. Considering most of the stuff that I saw was in French (though apparently there were English translations, which I didn't find out until later). I mostly just enjoyed taking pictures. Which sounds kinda weird, but. I don't know. It's history, and history is interesting. Let's not question that theory, mmk?
After that, we went back to school, and the school had a reception for all of the American students. It was pretty nice.
ANYWAYS. I'm tired, and I'm talking to Dre on the phone, so. Imma peace out.
And post some pictures.
Since they're worth a thousand words.
That means my blog is long.
So.

France, Day Three.
^^ I'd like to point out that, just for the record, this fall most likely contributed to the massive bruise on my left knee.
ANYWAYS.
Day 3, Strasbourg, France:
Pretty muchhhh, I'm really tired. The alarm Erin and I set didn't go off this morning, so we overslept. A little. Like 15 minutes. But anyways, apparently Oriane and her sister don't really, I don't know Get ready for school in the mornings? They just kinda get up, and go. So, you can imagine, we had fun with that.
First off, everyone was pretty culture shocked this morning, and were pretty glad to see everyone back in one place. We took a tour of the school, then took a boatride down the river running through the city. I have plenty of pictures, but I'm pretty tired, and don't really wanna upload them right now.
After the boatride, we walked around a little, did some shopping, then went back to the school for lunch.
After lunch, we were given a tour of the city by a few locals, which was pretty interesting.
I was pretty shocked to see a Subway in Strasbourg, which I need to make a note to go to at some point.
The rest of the day was pretty chill, we went to a park, and visited a small zoo. Most of the students went to the park, so you can imagine how that went. Needless to say, IT WAS FUN.
So yeah. That's basically the jist of it.

Day Two.
See that picture? Proof I am alive, and at least made it to Germany.
...For the record.
And yes, those are my ballin' shades.

Alright, so. I didn't get the internet working until today on my laptop, and the French keyboards are a nightmare--trust me. Nothing like the American keyboards. And needless to say, I prefer the American keyboards.
Yesterday we arrived in France, and to our surprise, a group of the French students were waiting at the airport for us. We heard screaming, and kept asking "what's the screaming for?". Then we realized it was us. Hahaha. It was pretty great.
Then we took the two hour busride back to Strasbourg, and met up with the rest of the host families. Pretty fun stuff.
Um, lets see. We brought out things back to the host family's house, and getting the bags up the staircase? A nightmare. No handrails + heavy bags = NIGHTMAREEE. But yeah. That was an experience. Now that the bags are upstairs, the only challenge we face, is getting them back down. Not looking forward to that.
We put up our things, then left the house. We went to downtown Strasbourg, where Oriane showed me and Erin around a bit. We saw Fletcher with Yann, and Sarah with Emma. And Sam with Antoine, too. We walked through a few stores, and into this huge cathedral thing. And then walked along the river running thorugh the city.
The we went to Marie's house, with Flore and Grey, umm. Oh, and Courtney, of course. And a few other people, but I can't remember. I was so tired, hahaha. Then the rest of the day was just dinner, shower, bed. And may I add: I don't like the French showers.
Today Erin and I didn't get up until about 12:30. Yeah, jetlag is horrible. Then we went iceskating, which was pretty fun--but painful. I have pictures I'll upload at some point. Then we went to downtown Strasbourg this time, but as a group-- which was great. Then we went to a friend of Oriane's mom? I don't know, it's a little hard to tell what they mean with the broken english, but i'm getting used to it. Sorta. ANYWAYS. We ate there, and luckily, at least one guy spoke english. But I forgot his name...Vincent, maybe? He had this cute kid named Nina, and they had this head-to-head screaming fit. It was hilarious.
ANYWAYS. Now I'm about to go take a shower. Which, is pronouced 'douche' in French.
...way different from the American version of douche.
BUT IMMA KEEP THIS PG.
